He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sanborn (Lynch) of Amherst, NH; his children, Matthew Sanborn of Cambridge, MA, Catherine Sanborn of Portland, OR, Erin Sanborn of Amherst, NH and Elizabeth Rios (Austin Rios); his grandson Gavin Rios of Brookline, NH; and his siblings, David Sanborn (Cathy), Donald Sanborn (Sue), John Sanborn (Martha), Bill Sanborn, Eileen Cramsie (Mike), Peggy Kirkpatrick (Jim), Mary Borie (Ken) and Maureen Morse (George). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
