He is survived by: his wife Susan Doney McDowell of Alton, NH.; his daughter Jane (Keith Smith) of Winter Garden, FL; his grandchildren, Brennan, Stephanie Smith and Parker; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Barbara McDowell of Bozeman, MT.; his grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew and Brooke; his great grandchild Susan; his son-in-law Ben Scott; his grandson-in-law Sam of Fort Collins, CO; his sisters, Susan Heppenstall, Jude Austin and Polly McDowell; his stepdaughter Jamie Doney of Baltimore, MD; and his stepgrandchildren, Jasmin, Jaden, Justin and Isabel. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
