He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin F. Cyr and Anita Cyr (Girardin); and his sisters, Alice Smith, Claire Henn and Irene Ostiguy (Martin Cyr).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Cyr (Peterson); and his children, Joe Cyr Jr. (Maggie), Amy Fontaine (Scott Fontaine), Angela Therrien (Steve Therrien), Ricky Cyr and Andrew Cyr (Marybeth). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Peaslee Alton Funeral Home (12 School St, Alton, NH 03809).
