He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Macdonald and Marguerita Macdonald (McSweeney); his sons, Peter and Paul; and his siblings, Arthur, Barry, Robert, Maureen and Dwyn.
He is survived by: his children, Diane, Joseph, Timothy, Richard and Michael; and also Rita. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
