She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Richard; her parents, Joseph Dion and Antoinette Dion (Senneville); and her sisters, Florence Courtemanche and Doris Shackford.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Laverdiere (James); her grandchildren, Keith Laverdiere (Fawn) and Christine Mullings (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Sophie, Maeva and Liam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
