She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sievers and Erma Sievers (Mumm); her children, Charlie Miller and Cathy Raver; and her grandson Nick Kuhl.

She is survived by: her husband John Miller; her children, Christy Kuhl and John Jr. (Briget Miller); her grandchildren, Natasha Lorensen (Brett), Mandi Juricek (Ryan), Jordan Raver and Samantha Miller; her great grandchildren, Kristofer Bogue, Lily Lorensen, Shane Lorensen and Kira Juricek; her son-in-law Dave Raver; and her siblings, Glenn Sievers (Linda), Sherlynn Hayes (Steve) and Kathy Lewis (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (1007 2nd St, Yutan, NE 68073). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Yutan.

“Awh Christy and John I am so sorry to hear about mom!! Where does a person start when we think about Jeris!! First she was 1 of the most loving and kindest women - she was the BEST!! She taught me so much about cooking! She was the Best cook ever!! I loved working beside her and she would whisper things to me she didn't want the customers to hear!!
