He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stiefvater and Helen Stiefvater (Hammerback); and his siblings, John Paul Stiefvater and Arlis Weed. He is survived by: his wife Carrol of Yutan; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Tami Stiefvater of Elkhorn, NE; his daughter Leah; his son-in-law Angelo Peruch of Fishers, IN; his grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, Sarah (Kevin, Erin, Ryan), Leah, Alexander and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Colton, Kevin, Brennen, Edyie and Sean; and his brother Arlen Stiefvater of California.
