With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Obermier (York, Nebraska), who passed away on January 20, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Obermier and Anna Obermier (Finke); his wife Vivian J. Noler; and his son Paul. He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Obermier (Jean) of Lincoln and Roger Obermier (Lisa) of York; his grandsons, Wesley Obermier (Nena) of York and Wade Obermier (Crissa) of York; his siblings, Bill Obermier (Shirley) of Waco and Reola Brahmsteadt of Illinois; and his sister-in-law Helen Obermier of Julesburg, CO..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Orphan Grain Train, Mission Central, and Faith Lutheran Church.
