He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Reetz and Anna Reetz (Zweibel); his wife Shirley Reetz; his parents-in-law, Roy and Thelma Schultz; his siblings, Delores Carlson and Elvin Reetz; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Blake, Venicia Reetz, Bob Schultz and Edsel Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Vanous (Tom) of York, Sondra Hermanson (Jeff) of Lincoln, NE and Jason Reetz (Holly) of Estes Park, CO; his grandchildren, Collin Reetz, Ryland Reetz of Estes Park, CO, Valerie Veen (Brad) of Chandler, AZ, Melanie McWilliams (Terry) of Lincoln, NE, Ryan Vanous (Sianna) of Raleigh, NC, Timothy Hermanson (Vanessa) of Windsor, CO, Adrianne Aksamit (Josh) of Ballwin, MO, Brianne Wentz (Zach) of Overland Park, KS, Jonathan Hermanson (Christiana) of Omaha, NE and Carianne Hartgerink (Cole) of Lincoln, NE; his great grandchildren, Evangeline, Scarlett, Natalia Veen, Eva, Hazel McWilliams, Lena Vanous, Logan, Peyton, Sydnee Aksamit, Brynlee, Harrison and Raymond Wentz; his brother Melvin Reetz (JoAnn) of York; his siblings-in-law, Joan Schultz of Huntington Beach, CA and Lee Blake (Nancy) of Kansas City; and his niece Gina Barrett.
