He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Brumbaugh and Jean Brumbaugh (Vincent); and his brothers, Frank and Vincent. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Ehlers; his wife Sandy of York; his sons, Drew Brumbaugh (Dorraine) of St. Charles, IA and Jay Dee Brumbaugh (Angie) of Goodland, KS.; his grandchildren, Garralei Martell of Santa Ana, CA, James Brumbaugh of St. Charles, IA, Julianna Brumbaugh of St. Charles, IA, William Brumbaugh of St. Charles, IA, Brennan Brumbaugh of Goodland, KS. and Brady Brumbaugh of Goodland, KS.; his sister Sharon Riekenberg (Larry) of Lincoln, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Brumbaugh of Bradshaw, NE, Kathy Brumbaugh of Fremont, NE. and Larry Ehlers (Barb) of Benedict, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Memorials may be directed to the York Public Schools Foundation.
