With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicki Applegarth of York, Nebraska, born in Crete, Nebraska, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kinghorn and Barbara Kinghorn (Nelson); and her sister Deb Casteel. She is survived by: her husband Doug of York; her children, Shanden Applegarth (Keri) of York and Sheali Tonniges (Nick) of York; her grandchildren, Waylon, Wyleigh and Wrenna Applegarth; her stepmother Judy Kinghorn of Fairbury; her siblings, Mel Wolbert (Scott) of Beatrice and Shelley Storovich (Michael) of California City, CA; and her brother-in-law Tom Casteel of DeWitt. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
