He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer H. Heiden and Mabel Heiden (Zwiebel); his daughter-in-law Cindy Heiden; his sister Mildred; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Brook and Don Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rhoades of York; his children, Mervin Heiden of Blair, NE, Randy Heiden (Sandy) of Des Moines, IA, Rick Heiden (Tami) of York, Catherine Norquest (Larry) of York and Rhonda Wlaschin (Aaron) of Columbus, NE; and his sister Doris Anderson of Aurora, NE. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
