It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margel Fassnacht (York, Nebraska), who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Gary Walter; her grandson Gilbert Hirsch; her sister-in-law Jan Walter; and also Chong-Hui. She is survived by: her children, Tom Roe (Marlys) of Webster City, Diane Chrisman (Kent) of York, Connie Hall of McCool Junction, NE and Su Hunter of Warrensville, NC; her grandchildren, Linda Rogers (Rodney) of Council Bluffs, IA, Tammy Thomas of Goldfield, IA, Cora Petersen of Humbolt, IA, Michelle Wardyn (Brandon) of York, Jamen Hall (Nichole) of Seward, NE, Angie O'Brien (Adam) of Amhurst, NE, Kahla Bergmeyer (Jeremy) of Lincoln, NE, Andrea Novell (Jason) of Hickman, NE, Creighton Chrisman of York and Dalen Hall (Lacey) of McCool Junction; and her siblings, Dexter Walter (Kay) of Aurora, OR, Stanley Walter (Kerri) of Port Orchard, WA, Paulette Westburg (Dale) of Arden Hills, MN and Julene Hayett (Gary) of Enumclaw, WA. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
