With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret A. Friesen of York, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James St and Thelma St (Vickers); her former husband Ken; and her brother Jim. She is survived by: her husband Wally Friesen of York; her children, Steve Spencer (Juli) of Columbus, NE, Susan Becker (Bryan) of Exeter, NE, Jarrod Spencer (Aubrey) of Garden City, KS and Andrew Spencer (Collett) of WaKeeney, KS.; her grandchildren, Zachary Spencer (Rylee), Marika Spencer (Francis), Brigham Becker (Amber), Alyssa VanWesten (Reid), Kaylee Coffey (Jeremy), Colby Becker, Oliver Spencer, Ava Spencer, Blake Spencer (Kenna), Rylee Spencer and Mason Spencer; her great grandchildren, Myles, Aleigha, Maddox Becker, Camden, Camille, Lawson VanWesten, Rhett Spencer, Brayson Coffey and Beau Spencer; her stepchildren, Kim Friesen (Karen) of Carthage, IN and Kevin Friesen (Stephanie) of Henderson, NE; her stepgrandchildren, Garrett Friesen (Delanie), Grant Friesen, Carly, Blake and Nick Friesen; her sisters, Wanda St. John of Owasso and Terrie St. John; and her sister-in-law Andrea St. John of Pryor, OK.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the East Hill Church of Christ (1122 N Delaware Ave, York, NE 68467).
Memorials may be directed to her family for later designation.
