Lavern Wimer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavern Wimer (York, Nebraska), born in Atwood, Kansas, who passed away on October 29, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wimer and Nellie Wimer (Olson); his wife Wanda Wimer (Heins); his brother Donald Wimer; and his stepsons, Jim and David Heins.
He is survived by: his sister Virginia Cole of Atwood, KS; his stepchildren, Donna Heins of York, Pat Brochevelt (Rich) of Central City and Brad Heins of York; and his great grandchildren, Chris Heins (Crystal) of Kearney and Nikki (Stephen). He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and many, many friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
