He was predeceased by: his parents, John Young and Vivian Young (Stuhr); his wife Diane Regier; his son-in-law Kelvin Kemp; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Regier, Jess Huebert, Terry Smith and LaVonne Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Travis Young (Jeana) of Bradshaw, NE, Marissa Kemp of Lincoln, NE and Chasity Briese (Brent) of Bakersfield, CA; his grandchildren, Everett and Eva Young; his brothers, Steven Young of Lincoln and Jay Young (Janet) of Grand Island, NE; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnnette Regier of Henderson, Sandra Huebert of Mesa, AZ and Konda Young.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Metz Chapel (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467).
