He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Light and Florence Light; and his siblings, Dennis, Rodney and Darlene LaVelle.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Light (Tieken); his children, Jody Cecil (Steve) and Greg Light (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Kade Hubbard (Tiffany), Megan Cecil and Taylor Light; his great grandchildren, Mona and Margot Hubbard; and his siblings, Rowena Batterton, Lois Wiemer and Louis (Sandy).
