With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette M Shellington of York, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Anderson and Marina Anderson (Lindberg); her spouse Thomas W. Shellington; and her brothers, Dale and Leon.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Shellington (Denise) of York and Jayna Nienhueser (Dennis) of Hickman; her grandchildren, Ryan Nienhueser (Kristina) of Tinmath, CO, Janae Greer (Andy) of Lincoln and Tara Ihde (Trent) of Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Jayla, Addi Greer of Lincoln, Ava and Austin Nienhueser of Tinmath.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1211 E 14th St, York, NE 68467).
Memorials may be directed to the church or to the family for later designation.
