With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice M. Otoupal of York, Nebraska, born in David City, Nebraska, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Rerucha and Emma Rerucha (Bartunek); her husband Gary Otoupal; and her brothers-in-law, Pat (Harlen Lyons), Stewart Otoupal and Merritt Otoupal.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Otoupal (Karrie) of York and Kirs Otoupal (Johny Eokohwaji) of Omaha, NE.; her grandchildren, Emma Wertz of Omaha, Jacob Wertz of Omaha, Benjamin Otoupal of York and Emily Otoupal of York; her brother Jerry Rerucha (Theresa) of Kalamazoo, MI; and her siblings-in-law, Miles Otoupal of Sammamish, WA and Joyce Otoupal of York.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (505 N E Ave, York, NE 68467). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
