It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Wellman of York, Nebraska, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto E. Schultze and Elizabeth I. Schultze (Grosor); her husband Vernon H. Wellman; her siblings, Norman Schultze and Alma Schuessler; her grandson Brian Nunns; and her great grandchild Cessna Brestel.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Nunns (Thomas) of Lincoln, NE, Shirley Taylor (Jerry) of Hot Springs, AR and Tim Wellman (Karen) of York; her grandchildren, Shannon Mee (Shaun), Zachary Taylor, Diana Schilf (James), Misty Brouillette (Jon), Ashley Waldrep (Barrett) and Lexy Schwab (Eric); and her siblings, Esther Tracy (Hubert), Raymond Schultze (Josee) and Dorothy Anderson. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are suggested to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, York, NE and The Alzheimer's Association.
