He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Charles and Genevieve Hiett (Cartwright); his wife Sharon R. Lansden; his son Galen; his grandson Curtis Payton; his siblings, Gary "Buzz" Hiett (Sharon) and Wilma Bachelor; and his brothers-in-law, Ivan Lansden and James Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Stephens (Kevin) of York, Deborah Hinz (Michael) of York, Christine Cobb of York, Anthony Hiett (Linda) of Bradshaw, NE and Cynthia Blundell (James) of Benedict; his daughter-in-law Patricia Payton of Superior, NE.; his grandchildren, Matthew (Joslyn), Joshua (Laura), Sarah Stephens, Lindsay Heiden (Gregg), Steven Hinz, Taylor Maurer (Heath), Ashley, Logan, Brianna, Tory Cobb, Christina Nielsen (Joseph), Hannah and Anthony "T. J."; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kelan Stephens, Madelyn, Kendall Heiden, Oakley Cobb, Carter Sperling, Adrian, Addyson Nielsen, Makenzie, Trevin Koranda, Haylee, Morgan, Shelby and Easton Payton; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Thompson of Benedict, NE and John Bachelor of York. He is also survived by five nieces, three nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Due to the COVID 19, Harold's funeral service will be limited to relatives and very close friends. COVID 19 Funeral Guidelines will be implemented with limited spaced seating and masks encouraged.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
