He is survived by: his wife Ardie of York; and his children, Randy Hinze (Deborah) of Columbus, NE, Scott Hinze (Brenda) of Waco, NE and Chere Epke (Ken) of Papillion, NE. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
