He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Rhodes and Elsie Lile Holland; his son William Lile Holland; and his half-siblings, Margret Alice Holmes, Jemone White, Geree George and Joe Holland.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Anne Holland; his children, John Holland of Tulsa, OK, Pauline Stahl and Crystal Tucker of Bremerton, WA.; his stepdaughters, Cheryl Mogul of York, NE. and Kim VanEsch of York, NE.; and his half-brothers, Sterling Holland of Texas and Mike Holland of Washington. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the church or York Country Club Youth Golf Program.

“Reminiscing of some of the great people I have had the opportunity to work with over the years I stumbled onto Lile's Obit. First my heart goes out to his family and friends who lost such a great husband, father, and friend but it's also saddens me to see such a wonderful person leave our presence. Lile and I were friends and worked together at Ingleside Marine in Texas. As I look at his signature on a document I have in front of me, I see only Lile's radiating personnality and smile. Tom Q.”
