He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bowman and Wilmadean Bowman (Landis); his siblings, Larry, Linda, Peggy and Sherrie; and his father-in-law Dean Rich.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rich of York; his son Andy (Caroline Bowman); his grandchildren, Emarie, Rowan, Tragen, Kreiger and Barrett of York; his son Nate (Amy Bowman); his grandchildren, Beckham, Mabel and Brooks of York; his daughter Katie (David Rystrom); his grandchildren, Oliver, Ila and Lena of Stromsburg; his brother Bob Bowman (Judy) of Bradshaw; his siblings-in-law, Ken Friesen of Henderson, Don Quiring (Dee) of York and Doris Bowman of York; and his mother-in-law Jean Rich of York. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
