She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Margaret Smith (Friesen); her brother Alfred; and her sister-in-law Marlyce Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jodie Ward of York; her children, Ramon Huber (Rachelle) of Lincoln and Susan Marsh (Mike) of York; her granddaughter Elizabeth; her children, Diana Ward of Stromsburg, Leland Ward (Connie) of York and Christy Tripp (Tom) of York; and her brother Harvey Smith (Marjorie) of Henderson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
