It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Demar Burns (York, Nebraska), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Joshua and Hildur Lenea Burns (Shalander). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ione Van Horn of York; his daughters, Ruth Santiago (A. J.) of Crestview, Roma Rees (Steve) of Grand Island and Rhonda Burns of Tampa, Florida; and his sisters, Wylie Schuett of Bloomfield and Vendla Wrick of Norfolk. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at this time, interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery on Tuesday, May 19th and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made in care of the family to designate at a later date.
