She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gardner and Mary Eliza Gardner (Carpenter); her son Thomas; her son-in-law F. Dwight Herd; and her siblings, Stanley, Georgie, Dick, Eugene, David Philip, Ruth, Caroline, Florence and Eula.
She is survived by: her former husband Martin Hoffman Jr.; her husband Harold Klingman; her children, Connie Herd of Spring Branch, TX, Susan Sundberg (Bradley) of Polk, NE and William "Bill" Hoffman (Margie) of York, NE; her grandchildren, Lana Brazil, Sheri Larsen, Jennifer Nelson, Jon Sundberg, Sean Hoffman, Shannon Hughes and Keith Hoffman; and her sister-in-law Jeanine Hoffman. She is also survived by spouses), 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to First Evangelical Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
