He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Hornbacher and Irma Hornbacher (Goemmel); his brother Tom; and his great grandchild Jaxson Hornbacher. He is survived by: his wife Jan of York; his children, Beverly Blum (Larry) of McCool Junction, NE, Karen Suhr (Randy) of McCool Junction, Bruce Hornbacher (Kelly) of York and Todd Hornbacher (Tina) of McCool Junction; and his sisters, Velda Sedersten (Don) of Lincoln, NE, Wanda LaPage of Lincoln and Sue Rath (Steve) of St. Edward, OK. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.
