As Dan departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dan. Though Dan may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Hildebrand and Mildred Kaliff (Peg); and his wife Barbara Jo Birt. He is survived by: his children, Alex Hildebrand (Holly Bower) and Betsy Forbis (Derrick); his grandchildren, River of York and Austen Forbis of York; and his brothers, John Hildebrand (Ginny) of Mesa and Miles Jr. Hildebrand (Chris) of San Diego. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
