He was predeceased by: his mother Mary M. Gdowski (Knopik); his brother Johnny; and his grandfathers, Matt Gdowski (Anna) and Frank Knopik (Caroline). He is survived by: his siblings, Ted Gdowski (Deb) of Columbus, NE, Randy Gdowski (Brandy) of Omaha, NE, Sharon Baker (Scott) of Littleton, CO and Vicki Hansen (Mark) of Lincoln, NE; his father Benny J Gdowski of York; his nieces and nephews, Amber Hernandez (James), Andrea Cunningham (Daniel), Baylee Gdowski, Brayden Hansen (Jasmine Owens) and Dalton Hansen; and his great-nieces, Daizie Cunningham, Ariel Cunningham, Ava Hernandez, Brooklyn Barber and Blakely Hansen.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (505 N E Ave, York, NE 68467).
