He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Cooper; his son Dusty Lee Cooper; his grandparents, Charles and Nona Cooper; his parents-in-law, Robert and Laura Haumont; and his brother-in-law Bobby Haumont.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Sue Cooper of Central City, NE; his wife Sandra Haumont-Cooper of York, NE; his children, Amber Starkweather (Allen) of York, NE and Dakota Cooper (Danielle) of York, NE; his grandchildren, Dominic, Derek and Dusty Cooper; his siblings, Curt Cooper (Joyce) of Central City, NE, Robyn Evans (Scott) of Decatur, IL and Corey (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Randy Haumont (Jane) of Phillips, NE, Tim Haumont (Tammy) of Grand Island, NE, Jan Haumont of Grand Island, NE, Ramona Burry of Grand Island, NE, Laura Stuchlik of Grand Island, NE, Kathy Haumont and Becky Haumont.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Apfel Funeral Home (1123 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
