She is survived by: her husband Ronald of York; her children, Alan Shields (Crystal) of Belle Plaine, KS, Lynnette Gonzalez (Armando) of Mead, KS and Paul Shields (Shalee) of Eagan, MN; her grandchildren, Zachary, Taegan, Ethan, Jadon, Elizabeth and Elijah; and her siblings, Curtis Milliken (Jeanice) of Harlan, IA and Michael Ann Peters (Keith) of Henderson, NE..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to York College or to the Nebraska Youth Camp.
