Joe R. Wieseler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe R. Wieseler of Wynot, Nebraska, who passed away on February 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wieseler and Katie Wieseler (Klug); his son Russel; his siblings, Jerome "Digger", Ralph, Lawrence "Manny", Arthur "Artie", Marcella "Sally" Anderson, Lucille Burbach and Gertrude Gale; his siblings-in-law, Mary Louise Hochstein, Joe Burbach, Donald Dickes and Bob Anderson; his granddaughter Tessa VanDeWalle; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Gale, Mary, Monica Wieseler, Deb Anderson (Michael), Bill Burbach, Michael Anderson and Danny Gale.

He is survived by: his wife Romaine Lammers of St. Helena, NE; his children, Philip Wieseler (Kim) of Sioux City, IA, Melissa VanDeWalle (Steven) of Cedar Rapids, NE and Michelle Busskohl (Shaun) of Yankton, SD; his daughter-in-law Amy Wieseler of Cave Creek, AZ; his sister Beatrice Dickes of Fordyce, NE; and his grandchildren, Chelsi Tjeerdsma, Noah, Parker Wieseler, Michael, Ashley Oquist, Caitlyn, Paul VanDeWalle, Luke, Grace Wieseler, Rachel, Savannah, Brett and Zach Busskohl. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Facemasks and social distancing are recommended for the visitation and funeral.
