He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Workman and Dorothy Workman (Kruger); his grandparents, Pete, Darlene Workman, Walter and Gertrude Kruger; and his uncle Darwin (Sharon Kruger).
He is survived by: his significant other Connie Roberts of Wymore; his son Nat Workman of Nebraska City; his grandchildren, Nat Workman, Jr., Hope Workman, Jesse Workman and Arabella Smallwood; his siblings, Fracia Workman, David Workman, Mathew Workman (Tess) and Darlena "Dolly" Sullivan (Gerard); his aunt Carol Ganshorn (Gale); his uncle Jerry Kruger (Holly); and also Stacey Cary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial has been established to the Wymore Volunteer Fire Department with the funeral home in charge.
