He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kliewer and Mary Kliewer (Mierau); his nephew Dale Heftie; and his siblings, Arlys Heftie, Olene Tessman and Roy Kliewer.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Kliewer of Wymore; his daughters, Sarah Cerny (Jason), Rebecca Lundstedt (Clayton), Amanda Goertzen (Adam) and Stephanie Mason (Aaron); his grandchildren, Timothy, Thomas Cerny, Daniel (Kylee Corter), Josh (Mariah), Levi, Aaron, Isaac Lundstedt, Samantha, Andrew, Nathan, Jeremiah Goertzen, Collin and Evan Mason; his great grandchild Gideon Lundstedt; his siblings, Diane Salmon (Lonnie), Linette Jones (Murray), Carol Holl (David), Orin Kliewer (Janet) and Berdon Kliewer (Vivian); and his siblings-in-law, Doug Tessman (Karen), Richard Heftie (Cheryl) and Helen Kliewer. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
A memorial has been established with the Wymore Church of Christ to be designated for youth to go to camp and learn about Jesus.
