He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Jackson and Juanita Jackson (Huffman); his brothers, Jimmy, Henry and Chuck Jackson; his mother-in-law Charlotte Andrews; and his nephew Matthew Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Sherri Jackson of Wymore; his children, Julie Andrews (Sonny) of Burlington, IA, Austin Jackson of Wymore and Blake Jackson (Alicia Pralle) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Parker, Devin Beckert and Sheala Graves; his siblings, Millie Howren and Dale Jackson; his father-in-law Melvin Andrews; and his nephews, Chris Jackson (Ramanda) and Shane Jackson (Amy). He is also survived by extended family and friends.

A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
