With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Gallisath (Wymore, Nebraska), born in Cortland, Nebraska, who passed away on May 3, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George G. Gallisath and Anna Gallisath (Rambow); his siblings, Josephine Colgrove (Ivan), Laura Scheideler (Harold) and Leslie Gallisath; his niece Deanna Colgrove; and his nephew Brad Leseberg.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Chapman; his children, Janet Walker (Gallisath) of Beatrice, Michael K. Gallisath of Beatrice and Dr. Glenda Gallisath; his grandchildren, Dana Lloyd (Jeffrey) and Darin Walker (Cara); his great grandchildren, Juliet, Audrey, Ciera Sorteberg, Layla and Liam Walker; and his sisters, Donna Ideus (Richard) and Margaret Ann Leseberg (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date due to the current pandemic situation.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
