He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Sohl and Marie Sohl (Scheele); his siblings, Shirley Wieden (Loren), Arlo Sohl (Betty), Kenneth Sohl, Merlyn Sohl (Teresa) and Patsy Roever; his father-in-law Ed Lytle (Martha); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lynn Sohl, Mae Marie Schultze (Kenneth), Linda Lytle, Dave Wittwer and Eddie Dean Lytle.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lytle of Wymore; his daughters, Lisa Sohl of Beatrice and Jennifer Sohl (Eli Lloyd) of Lincoln; his siblings, Lawrence Sohl (Norma) of Beatrice and Janice Wittwer of Falls City; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Fleege (Jon), Gyra Lytle, Pat Sohl, Ron Lytle and Dick Roever.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
