It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elden Johnson of Wymore, Nebraska, born in Nebraska City, Nebraska, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Johnson and Cozina Johnson (Handy); and his wife Dixie Eklund. He is survived by: his children, E. Scott Johnson (Phyllis) of Lincoln, Wade Johnson (Jean) of Lincoln and Laura Johnson of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, Kristy Jensen, Amanda Burndt and Jessica Roberts; his sister Betty Lou Lechner of Beatrice; and his brother-in-law Jerry Eklund of Washington. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Social distancing will be observed and masks are required at all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans and Puppies Behind Bars with the funeral home in charge.
