She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Konrad and Jennie Theresia Swanson; her husband William S. Day; and her siblings, Selma Jensen and Eugene Swanson.
She is survived by: her sons, Don E. Day (Dee) of Wymore and Dennis Day (Joyce) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Dawn Renee Day, Addam Day (Brandy), Tim Day (Laurie Leners), Denielle Trauernicht (Scott) and Gina Cook (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Jayden, Joshuah Harding, Addison, Wesdon Day, Graydon Day, Lauren, Natalie and Lainey Trauernicht. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Edna M. Day Scholarship Fund with the funeral home in charge.
