He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover James and Ethel James (Lewis); his siblings, Lester James (Maxine), Gwen Hurtz (Walter), Dean (Jean), Don (Gladys), Dale (Dolly), Melvin "Doc" (Jeanette) and Grover "Juni" (Jolene); and his niece Jaqueline Fulton.
He is survived by: his wife June Ellen; his children, Kenneth James (LaRay) of Wymore, Bob James Jr. (Amy) of Springboro, OH, Deb Nugent (Paul) of Elkhorn and Janice Richter (Dennis) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Curtis, Justin, Cody James, Hayley Petracek, Andrew (Becca), Caitlin, Zach James, James "Jim", Dana Nugent, Matt (Elizabeth) and Daniel Richter. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
