It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jurgens of Wymore, Nebraska, born in Odell, Nebraska, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Gerdes and Tena Gerdes (Tjaden); and her husband Delmer Jurgens. She is survived by: her children, Rick Jurgens (Vicky) of Wymore and Nancy Coffey (Jim) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Nick Thompson (Samantha) of Beatrice, Garrett Thompson (Cassidy Dixon) of Aurora, CO, Justice Coffey (Amanda) of Omaha, Lindsay Coffey of Omaha and Connor Coffey (Evann Martin) of Urbandale, IA; her great grandchildren, Adeline Thompson and Landon Coffey; and her brother Delmar Gerdes of Wymore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel (Stateline) Lutheran Church and Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the funeral home in charge.
