It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen D. Buss of Wymore, Nebraska, born in DeWitt, Nebraska, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iral Buss and Jessie Buss (Fort); his wife Marilyn "Mert"; his siblings, Everett Buss, Ralph Buss and Freda Wusk-Siems (Ralph Dale Wusk); his parents-in-law, Don and Viola Barnard; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Goes, Duane Barnard, George Wiese, Lois Pohlmann and Jackie Barnard.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Shaw (Phil) of Auburn, Dan Buss (Suzanne), Lincoln, Darcie Schmidt (Larry) of Wymore and DeeLynne Bednar (Scott) of Wymore; his grandchildren, Chad Shaw (Andrea), Dana Jo Pursey (Joel), Nicholas Shaw (Lacey), Robby Buss, Jill Young (Marty), Taylor Buss (Rachel), Kelsey Ratkovec (Cody), Nate Schmidt (Brandi), Josh Schmidt (Amy), Logan Schmidt, Colton Bednar (Livvy Michael), Caleb Bednar (Sabrina Jerred) and Chaysen Bednar (Destiny Worthey); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Stella, Harrison, Ivy, Isabelle, Gabi, Lily, Serenity, Lincoln, Rylee, Taetum, Harper, Henley, Huxley, Everly, Ava and Millie; his sister Marjorie Wiese; and his siblings-in-law, Bertha Buss, Donna Buss and Ivan Pohlmann. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wymore EMS or the Wymore Church of Christ with the funeral home in charge.
