He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thompson and Flora Thompson of Chester; and his siblings, Blaine of Sydney, Bill of Belleville and Lois of Laramie.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Kimball; and his children, Yvonne Wilhelms (Bruce) of Sibley and Timothy Thompson (Amy) of Quartz Hill.
