It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hamann Jr. of Winnebago, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William, Sr. Hamann and Blanche Hamann (Pycha); and his sisters, Margaret Hansen (Herbert) and Blanche "Marie" Johnson. He is survived by: his nephew Jason Johnson of Winnebago, NE; his nieces, Alissa Byrd (Travis) of Lockwood, MO, Dianne Echols (Lewis) of Brandon, MS and Brenda Collins (Eric) of Oakland, CA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elizabeth, Rowan, Alisa, Tessa, Wesley, Porter, Isiah and Ben; and also, Lainey and Emilia. He is also survived by his family, and teasing his nieces and nephews, and cousins.
