He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Krause and Hazel Krause; his wife Marilyn Krause; his son Terry Krause; his brother Everett Krause; his brothers-in-law, Elmer Schubert and Paul Morgan; and also, Nadine Madsen (Al), Lois Fisher (Lester) and Lucille Cull (Lloyd).
He is survived by: his son David Krause of Winnebago; his grandsons, Matt Dunham and Jason Dunham; his sister Verna Jean Morgan of Homer; and his sister-in-law Ellen Krause of Winnebago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
