With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mearle R. Nieman of Winnebago, Nebraska, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nieman and Gladys Nieman (Van Houten); his wife Carrie Krause; his siblings, Elmer, Albert, Marv and Beverly; his son-in-law Milton; and his brother-in-law Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Nieman (Melanie) of Ponca, Bonnie Belongea (Kevin), Karen Nieman of Wayne, Tom Nieman (Doreen) of Dakota City and Rod Nieman (Michelle) of Dakota City; his siblings, Chester Nieman of Dakota City and Bernice Gesch of Amarillo, Texas; and his grandchildren, Tara (Trevor), Tami (Justin), Michelle (Shannon), Chris (Raeann), Nick (Kayla), Carrie (Alex), James (Kendra) and Jessica. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
