He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Oscar A., Alvera Johnson, William and Clara Schubert; his father Lester C. O. Johnson; and his parents-in-law, E. L. and Bonnie Samuelson.
He is survived by: his children, Lester and Marfay Johnson (Schubert); his wife Gail Johnson of Wilcox; his children, Jeremiah Johnson (Heather) of Wilcox, Jeffrey Johnson (Shaina) of Wilcox and Jennifer Beemer (Geoffrey) of Imperial, Nebraska; his mother Marfay Johnson of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Chase, Makayla Johnson, Micah, Allegra, Faith Johnson, Avery, Emerson and Grayson Beemer; his brother Richard Johnson (Connie) of Ogallala, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Avis Nelson (Marvin) of Loomis, Lyle Samuelson of Loomis, Gary Samuelson of Atlanta, Nebraska and Kent Samuelson (Diane) of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Steven's honor, and kindly suggested to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or to the family for later designation.
