John J. Gishwiller Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2021, at the age of 90, John J. Gishwiller of Wilcox, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Gishwiller to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gishwiller and Grace Wessels; his parent-in-law LuAlice M. Strong; his son Michael Lee Gishwiller; his wife Geraldine Gishwiller; his close friend Margaretha Kloepping of Cozad, Nebraska; his brother David Gishwiller of Chino Hills, California; his children, Jon Leon Gishwiller, Bear and Linda Gilbreath; his grandchildren, Jamie Gishwiller of Missouri, Brandi Kerns, Sarah Rawls, Michelle Jackson, Joshua Gishwiller, Rachel Love, Jacob Gishwiller of Utah, Doug Jack, Jake Wilson, Katelyn Gilbreath of Missouri, Shane Love of Texas and Ryan Love of Texas; and also, Michael, Jon, Linda and Guy. He was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; the Gishwiller family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend John's celebration of life service, based on the best interest of your health, and that of your community.

A memorial has been established in John's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
