He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Nancy Smith and Don Glidewell. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Smith of Wilcox; his children, Edward Huffman (Diane) of Belton, Missouri and Sandra Huffman of Wilcox; his sister Illene Drake (Rollie) of Axtell, Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Karen Suzanne Glidewell of Grover Beach, California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Ivyl's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
